Beginning of September we spontaneously drove to Grindelwald in Switzerland for a day. Located in the Bernese Alps it’s roughly a 3h drive from Freiburg. We started at 5 a.m. and arrived around 8. Originally we planned to hike to the Schreckhornhütte but since it was supposed to rain we just decided to take it easy. The weather was constantly changing fog & bright sun – such an interesting atmosphere and especially really nice for pictures. After we had a quick snack pause we hiked back down and cooked some well deserved pasta next to a lake on our way back. I’ll never get enough of such spontaneous trips!
